Athens to Meteora via Historic Thermopylae

Breakfast. Guided ancient landmarks tour with Local Expert OR Plaka walking exploration with Tour Leader. Drive north to Thermopylae (480 BC King Leonidas/Spartans memorial). Drive to Kalambaka/Meteora. Hotel dinner (fresh seasonal ingredients).

DAY 3

Meteora’s Towering Monasteries

Breakfast. Discover UNESCO-listed Meteora stone pillars with Local Expert & visit a historic cliffside monastery overlooking Peneios Valley. Free afternoon: gentle nature walk or visit Natural History Museum.

DAY 4

The Sacred Way and Journey to Olympia

Breakfast. Drive south to Mt. Parnassus/Delphi with Local Expert: walk Sacred Way, Treasury of Athenians, Polygonal Wall, & Temple of Apollo (Oracle of Delphi; Argonauts & Trojan War prophecies). Drive to Olympia for hotel dinner.

DAY 5

Ancient Olympia

Breakfast. Tour birthplace of 776 B.C. Olympic Games (Zeus): Temple of Zeus ruins, athletes’ gymnasium, & Ancient Stadium (take photo at start/finish lines). Evening hands-on cooking demonstration with local chef; enjoy classic Greek dinner.

Mycenae and Nafplio

Breakfast. Explore Mycenae with Local Expert: Lion Gate, royal beehive tombs, & Cyclopean walls. Drive to Nafplio (architecture, squares, cafes, hand weaving art). Drive Saronic Gulf past Corinth Canal to Athens. Evening traditional Greek dinner with local wine.

DAY 7

Journey to Santorini

Breakfast. Early departure transfer to Port of Piraeus. Board high-speed ferry to Santorini. Upon arrival, scheduled transfer directly to hotel for check-in and time to unwind.

Voyage to Mykonos
