DAY 3

From Vatican Treasures to Florence

Breakfast. Guided Vatican Museums tour with Licensed Local Guide (Sistine Chapel, Michelangelo ceiling, St. Peter’s Basilica, Pietà). Drive north to Florence in Tuscany. Evening Chianti countryside experience (cuisine, hospitality).

DAY 4

Travel from Florence to Venice

Breakfast. Guided Florence walking tour with Licensed Local Guide: Piazza della Signoria, Duomo, Baptistry bronze doors, Ponte Vecchio, traditional leatherworking demonstration. Drive across Apennines & Veneto plains to Venice. Optional evening gondola ride.

DAY 5

Discover Venice’s Canals and Historic Centre

Breakfast. Private launch to St. Mark’s Square: Bridge of Sighs, St. Mark’s Basilica, Doge’s Palace. Observe Venetian glassblowing demonstration (glassware souvenirs). Free time to explore, enjoy a Venetian Spritz, or optional island visit.

Fly from Venice to Athens

Breakfast at hotel. Depart Venice’s canals and northern Italy’s landscapes; fly to Athens, gateway to Greece.

Visit Meteora’s Monasteries and Continue to Kalambaka

Breakfast. Drive north to Kalambaka & UNESCO Meteora monasteries. Tour 1 of 6 cliffside monasteries on sandstone pillars with Licensed Local Guide to learn history/monk life & view scenery. Dinner at hotel, then leisure time.

DAY 8

Discover Delphi and the Sanctuary of Apollo

Breakfast. Drive south to Mt. Parnassos & Delphi. Tour sanctuary with Licensed Local Guide: walk Sacred Way to Temple of Apollo (Pythian Games site). Optional hands-on Greek cooking experience (prepare/sample dishes with chef).

Explore Athens’ Ancient Landmarks
